The Winter

"O, wind, if winter comes, can spring be far behind?" ~ Percy Bysshe Shelly

The cold has come
The world does it become
Mountains stand high
Craning if winter is nigh,
Valleys so in low
Yearning for to glow.
Winter is here
And everywhere,
Because my toes are icy cold
And my fingers unable to fold.
Oh! People around
Get hold with your ground,
To relish its beauty
Of mighty snowy purity,
For all they say
'Nothing gold can stay,'
And winter for an hour
Like spring for a flower.

INCORPORATING BASIC PSYCHOLOGY IN BHUTAN’S EDUCATION SYSTEM

Psychology is the study of mind and the laws governing how mind works. And in Bhutan’s Education system, if we can add at least a drop of Psychology, it’s absolutely likely to be sure that there will be the greatest life-affirming impact on both: the education system and the nation builders.

The future of the nation solely depends upon the capabilities and abilities of today’s youth, capabilities and abilities of today’s youth solely depends upon what they learn and what they are being taught in schools, colleges and of course universities. So the all-important point here is the quality of education system of the nation must be strengthened and prioritized for it’s the mother of our youth’s prowess.

What do we study in schools? What do we learn from colleges? We study Mathematics and Sciences. History and Geography. Languages and Economics. Information Communication Technology. Various co-curricular activities. Disciplinary know-how. All other subjects. And so on and so forth.

What we don’t really study is Psychology? What we don’t really study is the subject of how our mind really works and functions and the laws governing the universe of our own mind. To lead others, you must lead yourself first. Similarly to study other subjects, first you must study the subject that studies other subjects. First, you must completely know how your mind works and the very basic law that unlocks miracles of our own mind.

History says that the mind is door to everything unless you know the very basic ins and outs vis-à-vis our mind. All of us on this universe can have what we desire. All of us can turn our imagination into reality. All of us can either do or die base on one’s willingness of mind. So the leading say here is when our own mind can do everything, when our mind has universe’s greatest power, why don’t we incorporate its study in today’s education system as usual like other subjects?

All we want is our youth to be much productive and for that Emerson quoth that a man is what he thinks about all day long. So it’s extremely overarching that we shape and enhance the way our youth think and for that we got to teach them about our mind and its laws because mind is where inexhaustible thinking originates. Only through this we will be able to realize the full potential of our youths. As cited by Theodore Roosevelt “Believe you can and you’re halfway there” may I borrow his words and say: Teach our youth about our mind and we’re halfway to get best of our youth and for the nation.

Majority of us walk one’s life loaded with a deluge of doubts confined within the shell of ignorance of who we’re and what we can do. That’s exactly why R. Buckminster Fuller explains boldly: Everyone is born a genius, but the process of living de-geniuses them. When a child is born, a genius is born. A child is born with an aptitude-ability to pursue everything but as child grows up and joins mankind, suggestions and opinions given by the surrounding society subdue a child’s innate ability. And by the time s/he has grown up, unsuitable suggestions have got saturated in such a way that s/she will began to have excuses and alibis.
But what if we teach them of our mind from the day of their enrollment in school little by little, step by step just like how we teach them alphabets. Just like learning alphabets, they’ll also get to learn about our mind and its nature. In this way they will get to know much about the mind and thus they’ll be able to completely shape their thinking and that’s exactly what we really want. That’s the purpose of life.

Why some are poor in mathematics while others can do? Why some play football well while others don’t? Why disabled ones do better than normal people in many ways? Why do you feel nervous and apprehensive maybe before your speech at large gathering? Why you’re in dilemma filled with doubts when opportunity welcomes you? Why you feel you can’t when the whole world confirms that you can? And why can’t you when you really can?

Those are all just the matter of how our minds have been trained. He knows mathematics because his mind has been trained in that way. And other doesn’t because other’s mind was trained in that doesn’t know way. We feel nervous before a speech because we’ve got used to it because we were trained in that way. We feel we can’t because we’ve been training our mind in such a way that now we feel good saying we can’t when we don’t really feel good. That’s too nasty to be accepted in this challenging world. We got to know our minds. We got to train our minds.

As said by Ayn Rand, “We are born into this world unarmed – our mind is our only weapon,” so to fight the world and win victory, it’s all-important that foundation of victory lies upon how well we know of our only weapon: Mind. Besides, how well we train it and tune to the rhythm of success. For that school as a learning center for young fertile minds play epoch-making and far-reaching role to train fertile minds for the growth of enthusiasm of optimism. And a basic subject of Psychology in modern education system can boost its quality and the normal days of schooling can be reduced to less than half.

Colors from A Visit to Ramoji Film City 17-01-2016

"It's not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness." ~ Charles Spurgeon

The Ramoji Film City, located at Hyderabad, India is the world's largest integrated film city of 2000 acres. It was established by Indian film producer Ramoji Roa in the year 1996 and it has been certified by Guinness World Records as the world' largest film studio complex. It's also first-star heartland for tourism, first-rate enclosure for recreation and relaxation where natural, artificial honey traps reside in abundance.

As read somewhere else it's true that a film maker can walk in with script and walk out with film at the film city because everything is systematically designed.

It was a blessed happenstance for us to be there and we were kinda a happy-go-lucky chappies because planning was of no use, through every angle looked we were mesmerized, through every chapter we read we were being animated and through every page we browsed we were being tantalized and captivated. Without wording much let's together browse through the Colors from A Visit to Ramoji Film City;

A hearty thankfulness to ourselves for making the day memorable and enjoyable and lovable and barnstorming and compelling and exhilarating and fascinating and so on and so forth. And happy that we did our best for enjoyment in Richard Bach's words; The best way to pay for a lovely moment is to enjoy it.

Bhutanese Student Association (BSA) Warangal, 2016

"God's dream is that you and I and all of us will realize that we are family, that we are made for togetherness, for goodness, and for compassion." ~ Desmond Tutu
It has always been a happy time for all of us to be among our friends we enjoy most. And happier we become when we get to meet our friends when away from home in such a very rare get-together. Bhutanese Student Association (BSA) Warangal had proved to be one such get-together opportune opportunity for everyone of us to happily get involved in Friends Making and Joy Sharing.

BSA Warangal which was aesthetically executed on 15th January 2016, was fabulously, I must say, an action-packed and high-voltage, engrossing and enthralling, fascinating and absorbing, rip-roaring and showstopping, aesthetically designed spree where everyone of us was interestingly engrossed from head to toe, swimming in the limitless sea of enjoyment and merriment. Happiness was being in full togetherness with our friends enjoying the real gist of being together.

The day began as we journeyed towards Celebrity Club, approximately half an hour journey from our place. All were energetic and so curious about the day. Who won't be salivating? When your favorite dish is eagerly waiting for you right under your cute nose. If I was, then I would push the present and drag the time all with my heart on this earth.

Within less than aforementioned time, we reached to our destination. And within no less than a split second we were enthusiastically in the football ground, eagerly waiting for football to take its responsibility. Then when time suited us, the match began. The referee blew the whistle. The soccer began to bounce. The players breezed and clumped and flounced as the soccer bounced here and there trying itself to adjust its direction towards the goalpost with justice and fairness. Unlike people, soccer listens only to the invaluable values; teamwork, cooperation, aptitude, ability, capability and so on. It favors to those who plays well with much concentration and accuracy, hard work and determination.

"I love football not because it's sphere but it's an exact symbol of teamwork, dedication and understanding."

After football, the girls played basketball and everyone of was mesmerized to see so many Michael Jordan in the basketball court beetling and running here and there after the ball, scoring as much less as they could to see who loses the game. My only regret was none of us had got even an autograph from so many Michael Jordan(s). But no worry, we shall always remember your words: I've failed over and over and over again in my life and that's why I succeed.

We knew our stomachs needed to be pampered as always, so heading for the lunch was our first and last decision. Headed to nearby Dhaba and then we all know what really happened. Lesser than hour we returned. Snapped memories. Took rest. Refreshed ourselves. Then played the final in soccer. Soccer favored the team who understood the values and with just declared the winner. It isn't a piece of cake to win everything, one needs sincerity, hard work, determination, optimism, enthusiasm and all other members those come under the roof of Success.

The gist of the day started before crepuscular and as mentioned, every program was programmed majestically with full heart for us to heart them. The dancers and singers, poseurs and talent-possessors were all nice filled with consistent zeal and persistent zest. The inspiring thing for me was they really loved what they were doing. And the awe-inspiring thing was they were really doing the thing they loved. Believe me, Marc Anthony quoth: If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life. In life, people say they feel lazy to work not knowing that there isn't so called 'Work' if done heartily with love and heart.

After program, it was again time for us to pamper our stomachs. So, delicious and mouth-watering dinner was all we had in unison, followed by jam session which most of us enjoy the most because it's only the show without audience, where we get to dance like everything. No matter even if you know not how to dance, you can still dance because nothing watches you except in very rare cases your really special ones eye you. I danced as if none was watching (lol).

There's always a reason to begin because it has an end. Timely, the spree came to an end. And concluded the day with minds and hearts to welcome another, because every ending has a new beginning and the setting sun always promises to rise again with much better and merrier rays to drive all the ways.

As usual as I say always, Gathering is a best platform for every participant to make new friends and know people. So did I. I'm happy now that I've been able make new friends and know more people. We thank family of BSA Warangal for your genuine invitation and for your action-packed spree. It was always a feel-good to happily participate in your BSA.

2016's Resolutions: A Year to Clear my Fare

"Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other." - Abraham Lincoln
When I look back at the bygone past of 2015, I still remember the toehold first day of 2015 of resolution I made for. And when I conclude the year to begin yet another year I feel brilliant that I have been living up to my resolutions and heightening to greater heights as I deserve to be. And that's the absolute exhaustive reason for Resolutions 2016.

Making Resolutions for yourself is like building Feathers into Wings: For every feather of optimism you weave, it's obviously as always as that you shall have that hope of wings at the end and those are exact wings those shall take you high in the sky of your own dreams and nigh to highness of success. Resolution shall be your guiding star that shall take you in your way unless you feed it with your own sincerity.

This year's resolutions as I've after a thoughtful decision are as mentioned above. I unsurprisingly concentrated on Reading because I thought it was absolutely necessary for everyone of us, if not for me, it's an extraordinary need. For me, Reading is what Joseph Addison exactly quoth: Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body. Like feeding your body with nutritious diet, it's all-important too to feed your mind/brain with nutritious diet and that's what reading can be the best way to feed your mind.

Please feed your mind/brain with nutritious diet because your mind is the greatest treasure you have of an immense measure, with mind you can do everything. Reading is the best elixir to boost your mind through which you can stretch your mind into any direction for everything: your dream, your theme, your wishes and ad infinitum.

I've a list of books to be read in this year and I've been posting in my Instagram: the BrainShelf of 2016. I'm hoping to read and read and heighten myself in my dreams. Simply, I love Books. I love Reading Books very much. I'm a Bibliophile.

Other resolutions too are great for me because I feel those are invaluable values all of must possess because everyone of us ultimate desires and dreams are same though the path we take might differ. Writing suit me as much as Reading does because I write because I read. Writing is the way of expressing your thoughts and that's the basic rights/freedom we're gifted naturally. We deserve that rights before we are born and even after our death also. So Writing can be the best way of proving yourself/the world that: Yes! I'm really relishing your Right. From now, start writing your rights, it's the way to right yourself.

Other resolutions are simple enough, I call them Small Big Resolutions because if you study them mindfully every one of them has to start from a single step to mine thousand miles. Obviously, in the World it's an old aphorism: Every drop of water makes mighty ocean. So it's earth-shattering and epoch-making to concentrate in every step for you reap what you sow.

Be Proactive like Water: I felt great about being Proactive like Water. I owe to Stephen R. Covey for allowing me to make my resolution. Be Proactive is the first Habit from The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Proactive in simple is, Non Reactive. Being Proactive like water means adjusting yourself to fit any situation just like water fitting all irrespective of dimensions. Bruce Lee beautifully puts on this: Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle You put it in a teapot, it becomes the tea pot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend. And I continue, Cheers! friend I'm be water.

As 2016 begins I'm sure that you're well prepared with your resolutions to start new year. Wish you Happy New Year. May this year be much better than last year and much lesser than next year. Huge good luck as you prepare to open the upcoming chapter of your life ahead as you head with enthusiasm and optimism, yeah live Enthusiasm in Optimism. See you everyday doing Great.

Gross National Happiness: Nation's Notion of Happiness for All

"Gross National Happiness (GNH) is more important than Gross National Product (GNP)" ~ His Majesty Jigme Singye Wangchuck

"Today, GNH has come to mean so many things to so many people but to me it signifies simply- Development with Values. Thus for my nation today GNH is the bridge between the fundamental values of kindness, equality and humanity and the necessary pursuit of economic growth. GNH acts as our National Conscience guiding us towards making wise decision for a better future." ~ His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck
My little say-so on BIG GNH...
History of Gross National Happiness
An ideal idea of Gross National Happiness(GNH) was coined by the Fourth Dragon King Jigme Singye Wangchuck in the year 1972 principally  and pre-eminently to define happiness of the nation in more broader means in terms of Self-Internal Happiness. He was more interested in individual's happiness that he boldly said, "Gross National Happiness is more important than Gross National product."

Four Pillars of Gross National Happiness
The fact about GNH is that the every individual must consistently, persistently strive for the ultimate jewel: Happiness through innumerable ways, both psychologically and physiologically. So to keep the roof and root of GNH in equilibrium, there are four bold pillars namely;
         1. Sustainable and Equitable Socio-Economic Development,
         2. Conservation of the Natural Environment,
         3. Preservation and Promotion of Culture and
         4. Good Governance.

1. SUSTAINABLE AND EQUITABLE SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
As the nation gets exposed to the rays of modernization, its economic development has become a will of necessity for its constant survival among other nations. The basic infrastructures and social services: road, health, education and agriculture have started to grow rapidly and the nation has been taking a challenging time adjusting with its geographical terrain. Moreover, the notion of green-economy has been built in our minds to cultivate sustainable and equitable socio-economic development.

There is a great need for the nation to build healthy economic wealth and it is very important for the nation to get involved in economic activities. The hydro-electric project has been the greatest source of nation's wealth to enhance the overall development and other sources such as agriculture productions and tourism(through culture and environment) have also added a lot.

2. CONSERVATION OF THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
It is a need for every being to know the importance of natural environment because it is the source of life for one and all. Our health purely depends upon the health of environment, so conserving environment is taking good care of ourselves. Healthy environment, healthy life.

The country has 72 percent of its land under forest cover which is very much pristine and delicate and neighbourly 27 percent of its land is reserved as protected areas for the preservation of natural biodiversity. The forest cover is a home for innumerable animals and in actual fact a source of various resources such as wild vegetables and fruits, herbal medicinal plants, bamboos, timber and so on.Now the rich environment has attracted tourism which has added to economic wealth.

3. PRESERVATION AND PROMOTION OF CULTURE
The old-aged culture and tradition heritage has been playing a huge role for the survival as a nation for more than one hundred years ago and now it too has become a will of necessity as nation moves forward with globalization. The country has living culture that teaches basic human values such as compassion, faith, respect trust, kindness, benevolence, honesty, etc. which have been guiding its citizens in all walks of life. This unique and appreciated culture link the bhutanese society all the time.

Now as the nation sheds its isolation and opens its door to the world there is a very great requirement for the great thoughts we think and the actions we do. We need to be the very best preservatives of our own culture and it is mandatory for us to preserve and pass on to our younger upcoming generation.

4. GOOD GOVERNANCE
His Majesty the fourth Druk Gyalpo Jigme Singye Wangchuck has mentioned, "The destiny of Bhutan lies in the hand of its people." It is truly a great statement. To run the nation we must run for the nation, wholeheartedly and the quality achieved by nation at any point solely depends on the quality of its people. We are the drivers of the nation and it's up to us whether we drive the nation here or there, high or low or to or fro.We are the makers of our own nation because we shape it through our own minds and bodies; the everyday activities we do.
Good Governance is the basic pillar of pillars because the others pillars are dependent on this pillar. We need to work for sustainable and socio-economic development. we need to conserve our nature environment and we need to preserve and promote our culture.

Nine Domains of Gross National Happiness
The four dynamic supportive pillars of GNH are further divided into its respective branches into nine fulfilling domains.
1. Standard Living : ability of an individual to stand on its own
2. Health of population : coverage of health services across the nation
3. Education : reaching education to everyone as its fundamental right
4. Ecosystem vitality and diversity : living in harmony with the mother nature
5. Cultural vitality and diversity : preserving and promoting culture in everyday life
7. Good governance : thoughtful and true-hearted citizens; nation makers
6. Time use and balance : wise and balanced usage of in-estimable time
8. Community vitality : living in peace and harmony among ourselves
9. Emotional well being : presence of healthy mind in healthy body

My Definition of Gross National Happiness
I define GNH in these three adjustable ways:
1. As a body; Happiness (nutrients) experienced by each and every living cell of a body to perform its various respective functions or opportunities received by every, various organ to live up to its expectation for the normal functioning of the life.
2. As a tree; Happiness exercised by every leaf of a tree to perform its basic function to bear fruits and flowers or the equal resources (water, nutrients and sunlight) received by every leaf to yield fruition.
3. As a nation; Happiness exercised  by an individual for driving its life on the most given comfortable smooth path or the sum of total happiness enjoyed by an individual to live its life. All we need to do is to achieve living lasting happiness in both healthy mind and healthy body.

Nuts and Bolts of Gross National Happiness
If you think about GNH from the thoughtful angle we will surely discover that the root of happiness is purely, deeply rooted in certain basic high-yielding foundations which means there are some basic requirements and procedures to be followed in order to achieve the dreams. Let's watch and observe the life of a tree, which is also the source that support our life. The basic thing for it to start its life is the seed of quality and the soil of fertility. We sow that seed and by the means of nature, it takes time and space to grow into a large tree. Nature is always kind, not because it teaches us lessons but we got to learn a lot from nature; fair, justice, equality, co-operation, patience and so on and so many invaluable values.

Let us imagine imaginary lines dividing a fully matured tree that we have sown just few sentences ago, into three major parts; the top, the trunk and the roots. If we examine those parts critically we get to know that they are very much interrelated just like our body and soul; inseparable. The roots support the upper two parts, the trunk supports the top and the top supports the happiness(fruition), reaping the ultimate required result. Through this we come to know that these three parts are dependent on each other without which one's absence is enough to put the whole stuff down or with which one's presence is plenty to raise the whole high to magnificence.

Just like the brief strong story told by a tree, GNH too, always speaks and tells its story to every one and all, and the greatest fact is, many a times we leave its story either unheard or unnoticed because we make ourselves too busy to listen by carving its trunk to achieve its top without thinking of its roots. GNH is no different from the tree where the top is GNH itself, its trunk is the four pillars and its roots are the basic human values. Bhutan, the country is the soil where GNH, the seed of quality must be sown with the condition that the fertility of soil purely depends upon the quantity of human values present in it. Now, the responsibilities solely lie on the citizen's heads and hearts because we are the roots of a tree and minerals of the nation. Every Bhutanese needs to contribute its own unique contributions to enhance the fertility of the nation in the name of GNH.

The four basic values we must possess to execute GNH are Cooperation, Benevolence, Trust/Faith and Responsibility, I personally call them: Four Senses of GNH because they are just like our senses those make us perfect.

Four Senses of Gross National Happiness
1. Sense of Cooperation: Understanding each other
2. Sense of Benevolence: Empathetic feeling towards each other
3. Sense of Faith:Trusting each other
4. Sense of Responsibility: Building each other

1. SENSE OF COOPERATION: Understanding each other
Cooperation is a combination of both physical and mental powers to achieve targeted goal at any given time and the fact is its power is almighty. Jonathan Haith noted, "The most powerful power ever known on this planet is human cooperation - a force for construction and destruction." Men can either build or break the wall through cooperation or achieve anything and it's of utmost importance to cooperate for the betterment.

Even nature teaches us an amplitude of lessons on cooperation. As mentioned above, about the growth of a plant, in this there is cooperation within the plant (roots, trunk and top) and external cooperation too, that is for its growth it needs sunlight, air, water and nutrients, have a glance to know how the nature is systematized in terms of cooperation to engineer its perfectionist. Even think of ourselves, how our every cell cooperates, how our every organ cooperates and cooperation of five senses those give us the greatest power and fulfilment. Over and above, the ascendancy of body-soul cooperation that is unthinkable.

Cooperation blended with think thoughts always yield high-yielding first fruit and that is what every one of us must be striving for, for the accomplishment of GNH. We need to collaborate on preservation and promotion of our culture, we need to combine our forces for the conservation of natural environment, join our hearts for the socio-economic development and cooperate cooperatively in our every doing. Think reflectively, that cooperation is the master key for the fruition because, "When was ever honey made with one bee in a hive?" as said by Thomas Hood.

As nation feels the feelings of modernization, cooperation among ourselves has become essential as it must be. Speaking our own identity, national language: Dzongkha by one or two or three has no power to display to the world who we are, it must be spoken by every Bhutanese, by all. Dressing our own identity, national dress: Gho and Kira by one or two or three has no domination at all, it must be well dressed by every Bhutanese, by one and all. The way we lived must be lived by everyone. So whatever we plan to do must be done cooperatively, no matter what the obstacles and challenges may be it will be automatically removed.

2. SENSE OF BENEVOLENCE: Empathetic feeling towards each other
I am pretty sure that for the instant achievement of GNH, benevolence:helping hands through helping hearts, must be possessed in everyone because, "Helping other people can be a cure not just for those who are in need but your soul as well," as said by Marinela Rika. By helping others we are helping ourselves indirectly which also means, the more you give to others the more you receive.

Helping others starts from grass root level of encouraging others through enthusiastic words to contribution of million dollars for the well-being of other needy ones. We all experience the difference in the way we live. There isn't much to talk on the standard of living for the rich people who have plenty to experience but there are much more to think about inferior and other poor people who are in really need of help for the constant survival. The time passes on and the life keeps moving and we are the main hero to change the way our community lives through every possible ways.

Empathy is to benevolence what seed is to seedling, because without empathetic feeling benevolence will never be yielded. Empathy gives birth to benevolence, I believe the more empathetic people are the more willingly they become to help others through any means. In a GNH country like Bhutan empathy must be deeply rooted in every citizen's heart for the realistic dream. Think what if everyone was encouraging each other in every doing, imagine what if everybody was empathy and helpful, picture what if all of us have hearts those big-hearted hearts, then I am confident that everyone will merrily, voluntarily help everyone reaching happiness everywhere.

3. SENSE OF FAITH:Trusting each other
Though to trust others is the hardest thing, learning to trust ourselves is what we must always be yearning for. To gain trust from others we must first trust our inner-self. Trusting ourselves is the first step that we take to open our windows of life to the world for the magnificent rewards because, "Trust yourself. You know more than you think you do," as mentioned by Benjamin Spock.

While driving the journey of life, one alone cannot complete it fruitfully, one needs others' hands for the grand success and for that it's obvious that we need to work together where the seeds of trust and faith play a very earth-shattering role.

As a nation trust must be built everywhere as bridges those connect us together and help us in getting along with the time. The trust between the king and government, trust between the king and the people, trust between the government and the people and the dauntless trust among the king, the government and the people.

4. SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY: Building each other
Every individual must be responsible for the duty they are given with and one must always fulfill the given duty at any cost, no matter what. Like the organs of our body, every organ has its own responsibility and the fact is no one can replace one another. For instance heart can neither replace lungs nor do its function or lungs can neither replace heart or do its duty. So if one organ fails to do its duty the normal functioning of whole system gets disturbed. Thinking that we are just like those organs in our own body, we must feel it as our bounden duty to have the sense of responsibility.

Even in the family, every member must be given some responsibility for the smooth functioning of its journey otherwise it will surely collapse. So it applies to all: government and people for the final achievement of our destination.

I consider the above four senses as the building blocks of Gross National Happiness for they are the basic foundation of GNH. They are the ingredients of four pillars and compositions of nine domains. To make the pillars stronger we must measure the toughness of these senses. To make domains tougher we must measure quality of these senses.

As true in photosynthesis that water plus carbon dioxide in presence of sunlight and chlorophyll yields glucose so is mine that sustainable and socio-economic development plus conservation of natural environment plus preservation promotion of culture plus good governance in presence of senses of co-operation, benevolence, faith and responsibility yields Gross National Happiness(GNH).

On My 22nd Bright Birthday

"You don't get older, you get better." ~ Shirley Bassey
My favorite month is October. And autumn is my preferable season. The reason is that easy because I was born in that month of that season, when earth turned gold and leaves splendidly glittered in golden rays, the world and his wife welcomed me with a hearty welcome, I remember that.

Celebrating my birthday hasn't been my-type of celebration until I met my big-hearted friends. I owe my loved parents and all my beloved friends for making me a very special one. As I turned 22nd yesterday on 11 October, I shall cherish Shirley's aphorism, "You don't get older, you get better," that I have become better than yesterday and lesser than tomorrow. Age doesn't matter at all, what really deserved to be counted is the sense of being who really we are.

It's earth-shattering to see ourselves growing in terms of invaluable values and wise wisdom rather than focusing on the age of one's body. On your birthday, just ask yourself how much you have been bettering yourself from a year away from now? Judge your aptitude and attitude?

Thank you all of benign friends for bringing Jean Paul's wisdom in me,"Our birthdays are feathers in the broad wing of time." Thank you for presenting your genuine presence on my birthday. You all made my bright birthday piquant and prepossessing, newsworthy and noteworthy, rip-roaring and riveting and ad infinitum. I shall cherish it for eternity.

I shall let the pictures narrate my birthday celebration;

Thank you Mr. Yonten Jamtsho for being such a nice and jolly friend and pointing me as a birthday boy lol ;)

Thank you for your adorable and lovable gifts. After all what really daily counts isn't the quantity of gifts you receive but the quality of love and care wrapped within the gift. When I did open your gifts, I found first not the contents but ample of love and care that you all sincerely took life and time to gift me. Thank you all so much.
Thank you Mr. Kayta Boss Rinzin Wangchuk for your pulsating gift of home for my papers.

Thank you Mr. Messi Karma Namgay , Geology Khot-keens and Chimi, Kuenga for your spectacular gift of nice watch, now it's time to keep on keeping on

Thank you Ms. Nityam Kutu Nepal and Ms. Sonam Dechey Tshomo for your beauteous Shirt and slipper,

Thank you Ms. Ugyen Lhamo Choden and Ms. Kuenzang Choden for your unputdownable books, I shall have them deliciously.
My Facebook wall has been all clothed in my birthday wishes from all of my warm-hearted teachers and kind-hearted friends, I thank everyone of you, for taking at least even a second to wish on my birthday, you all made my day a great day, one of my best days ever. And for your becoming gifts.
